Information you provide

When you request a consultation, we collect your first and last name, email address, telephone number, selected service and message. We use this information to review your enquiry, contact you and arrange the next steps. Required fields are marked with an asterisk; without the necessary contact details we may be unable to respond.

Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry. Do not send passports, identity documents or sensitive case documents through MIRA or the initial enquiry form. Our team will explain how to provide documents when needed.

How enquiries are handled

Website enquiries are delivered to our email system and synchronised with our intake portal for our team to review and follow up. Website hosting, email and portal providers process information as part of delivering those services. Zoho services support the intake workflow. Where your enquiry progresses to a professional engagement, the responsible practitioner will explain any additional case-specific processing and professional requirements.

Purposes and legal grounds

We process enquiries to take steps at your request before entering into an engagement and, where an engagement follows, to perform it (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Our legitimate interests in responding to general correspondence and maintaining website security may also apply (Article 6(1)(f)). We process information where necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). Where a feature requires consent, that consent can be withdrawn without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Website services and technical information

Hosting and security services may process IP addresses, browser information and technical logs. Contact Form 7 supports enquiry forms. Google reCAPTCHA protects forms against automated abuse; Google Language Translator supports translations; Google Maps displays our office location; and Google Fonts supplies typography. Loading these services can disclose technical information to their providers. Translation may involve processing displayed page text. External links such as WhatsApp and Google Maps are governed by those providers’ privacy notices.

See our Cookie Policy for information about cookies, browser storage and these services, and Google’s Privacy Policy for Google’s processing.

MIRA website assistance

MIRA provides predefined guidance about website services, contact options and consultation requests. It does not access your case or submit an enquiry on your behalf. This version does not send conversations to an external AI chat service. Conversation content is cleared when the dialog closes; the selected language may be remembered in browser session storage. MIRA does not make decisions about eligibility, applications or access to professional services.

Recipients and international processing

Information is handled by team members and practitioners involved in your enquiry and by service providers supporting hosting, email, security and the portal. It may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary for legal claims. Some external providers operate internationally and may process information outside the EEA. Applicable transfer arrangements depend on the provider and service. Contact us for information about the recipients and transfer safeguards relevant to your enquiry.

How long information is kept

The retention period depends on whether an enquiry remains active, becomes an engagement, or needs to be retained for an applicable professional, legal or claims-related requirement. Information should be kept only for as long as those purposes require. Contact us for the retention period or criteria applicable to your particular enquiry. This notice does not imply that a request for deletion overrides a legal duty to retain records.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Email info@immigrationinromania.com to exercise these rights; we may need to verify your identity securely.

You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP, or another competent supervisory authority. Information is available at www.dataprotection.ro.
