The giant tech Apple has a company in Romania for 3 years and announced expansion plan. According to the NACE code, the company is authorized to carry out in Romania “business and management consultancy activities”.
Representatives of the American giant Apple met on 5th May 2022 with the Romanian Government officials, and the discussions also addressed the launch of a Research and Development Centre, following the model of those in the United Kingdom, Germany, Israel and France. At the meeting attended the Ministry of Digitalization and the Director of the National Committee for Cybersecurity.
Romania has an advantage indisputable for the opening of such a R & D centre, since Romania has the most important resource available worldwide – specialized human resources. Romania is so-called the “silicon valley of Europe”, due to its high qualified personel in IT and cybersecurity, educated at Romanian Politehnica University.
